Wearing headguards, pillows on your fists, tassels on your boots and pulling your shorts up to your nipples is manly. :rofl

Boxing takes real skills, and real toughnes.
anybody can be MMA fighter, it's easy to be tough guy like 7 minutes, then one clean punch and fights over.
there is reason you dont see middleclass college boys in boxing.
they do not have toughness to go boxing ring, and take all these punches.

Anyone can't be a top level MMA fighter. Most people could get licensed, as they could in boxing, but it's not like they're going to rock up in the UFC.

Generally if a fighter is on a good run and gets a win over one or two UFC veterans, they'll get signed on. It's just a case of chasing that type of fight.

Reza Madadi getting signed after beating Clementi, Prater and Browning being a good recent example.

it's true, some are better athletes than others.
boxing you need mental toughness, that's separates boxing and MMA.

They're different sports. Wrestling is an extremely tough sport.

    :patsch

Yeah like you have won a gold medal or national level championship at Judo, BJJ, Wrestling or Muay Thai.

Please list your extensive achievements in combat sports so we can learn how easy it is. :deal

The difference is probably because boxing allows you to focus on the upper body of an opponent, in MMA you don't have that luxury.

According to you anyone can be a MMA fighter.
As you are not a fighter STFU rather than hating on something you don't have the balls to try.

    Right.

A quick look at your posts shows you making idiotic posts on MMA time and time again. Step into a gym and tell the fighters how easy it is to be a MMA fighter.:!:

  14. Brock did, and that guy cant even punch properly, cant kick, and has no idea on any submissions.

He pretty much got handed the championship belt after around 3 measly fights.

  15. Pretty much. In the HW division it went old man Randy then Brock then Carwin then Cain and then JDS. I only see one current dominant fighter there thats deserving of the belt, JDS.

Zulu was also undefeated before facing Fedor with a whole bunch of bodies lying on the floor from KO's. He was something like 38-0 record in Brazil and a 9-0 record for the bigger promotions including those in Japan. Zulu might look like a freakshow but the guy was very dangerous back then, the actually has a belt in BJJ as well as very dangerous hands.

HMC well the guy is another monster and was actually a top level K-1 striker with a kickboxing win against Semmy Schilt.

Nagata was the only can in the MMA sense. One thing he was gangerous though was his wrestling, the guy is a far better and more accomplished wrestler than Brock, Cain, and Carwin combined. Nagata represented Japan in Greco in the world cup and regional wrestling competitions, with great placings. [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Semmy_Schilt"][/ame]
