Ward is a far superior fighter to Ottke and it is idiotic sorry to make comparisons. There are none. In Ward we are talking about a pound for pound talent.

Ward is the heavier puncher, more versatile and more everthing.

Are you saying because Ward is American, his boring "hit while holding" decision wins make him a P4P fighter?

If he would have defeated Kessler in Denmark, I would have respect for him. But he's just a very pampered boxers who demanded having all his Super Six fights in the US, while all the others had to fight in foreign countries.

Ward is not boring at all. He displays old school skills. He is very skilled well trained fighter. He did not get on his bike and run from Froch and Kessler but beat them up on the inside and outside. He would have beaten Froch in Nottingham as well.

And yet you have respect for Ottke and Bute, despite neither of them fighting away either. Why is that?

This is what I object to:

Ottke and Bute are constantly bashed by the American boxing media and ridiculed by fans, while Ward is hyped as if he's the real Son of God.

The same people who b1tch and b1tch about Bute having all his fights in Canada (his second last fight was actually in Romania) and ridicule Ottke for having had his fights in Germany, have nothing but hype and praise for Andre Ward, despite the fact that Ward was given the unfair advantage of having all his fights in the Super Six at home while everyone else had to fight in foreign countries.

If Bute KOs Miranda impressively, they'll say it's because Miranda is shot or has no chin. If Ward goes the distance with Miranda, it's hailed as a brilliant technical performance.

If Wladimir Klitschko wins a decision like Ward did last night, he's ridiculed by the American media as being boring. Yet if Ward does it, it's praised as a great performance!

Wlad has 5 KOs in his past 6 fights.

. Yet who does the media bash for being safety-first?

Ottke is bashed because he was a joke, got multiple gifts and didn't fight top competition (at least Ward is fighting the best in his division)

Bute is Romanian after all, so fighting there against a Frenchman in Mendy he was still very much the home fighter.

I think Ward's decision are more to with him not having elite punching power, whereas that can't be said of Wlad, he just went safety first for a while, and completely changed his style since being sparked. Also if Wlad won a decision like Wards last night, people would be saying **** when did Wlad learn to fight on the inside!

HBO and Showtime are hardly going to go around tearing into an unbeaten fighter they've put a lot of money behind when he's beating World Class fighters consecutively, just as I doubt German media got on Ottke's back and the Kilts are certainly revered by the German press. I also don't see the Canadian media getting on Bute's back???

I'm not saying it's right, but the only reason you are complaining is because the American media is the most viewed world-wide, when there's no more bias occurring than in the home media of the fighters you mentioned.

England,Scotland and Wales are all part of one country.

    Its called Britain.

Also he never fought in Denmark. he fought Kessler in Britain.

He did fight the mighty Mario Veit in a much anticipated rematch in Germany though.

He's also bashed because he looked at the referee for help when his opponent punched him in the face..

the ****er deserves NO respect, he robbed good honest pros of a fair fight and victory with his bitchy ****ing antics, even for a German based fighter, fighting in Germany, I've NEVER seen a guy repeatedly look to the referee for help on minor things like...getting hit...getting knocked down...getting hit AGAIN..

    rediculous
