    This was part of the "Behind the Ropes" documentary for the Paul McCloskey v Amir Khan fight that SKY Sports for all the PPV fights on the channel.

    However after Khan jumped ship to Primetime it was shelved. Enjoy!

    (I had to cut 2.30 out of it to fit it under the 15 minute mark)

    Got told last night that my birthday present is an Olympic ticket _Mens Bantam Weight (56kg): round of 16. Mens Heavy Weight (91kg): round of 16. Mens Super Heavy Weight (+91kg): round of 16 hopefully it works out that Nevin fights in that session

    No mate didn't go. Good luck to the guys competing and all and I did consider going, but it was unlicenced.:conf If only a licenced promoter was to ultilise the same venue with some of the licenced pro boxers from the west of the city, now is there anyone we know who could do that:hey

    It's true. Puca - did you know that Steve Kim was on twitter about 4/5 days ago saying Top Rank are reconsidering Lee for a February fight with Chavez Jr? Reason is because apparently Rubio was pricing himself out of the fight. That was the same day as the convention where JCCJR was ordered to face the mandatory challenge of Martinez though. I would imagine with the size of DiBella's stable that he is working on a deal with Top Rank to the effect of - you don't have to fight Martinez if you fight one of my other middles. Now Lee is only one of 6 middleweights in Di Bella's stable but still has a chance of landing it. However DiBella probably won't agree to Lee fighting JCCJR in FEB on a TOP RANK show.

    Saunders is out the end of January seems to me if fitz wanted it he would be in training now and waiting on the call to come, then if it was at two weeks notice he would be in a position to take the fight.....Somehow i dont think he will though.........

    in the article on irish boxing he said he would be willing to fight saunders end of january as he would have enough notice to make weight etc hopefully a fight happens soon for him, any news on his own show early next year there was some talk of that a while back?

    Sorry to say Rory Mac wins tonight............Katie deserves it but they're waiting on next year and in fairness Wee Mac has had a good year in a higher-profile sport.
