Is Andre Ward the most arrogant man in boxing?

Who gives a **** about religion? I hope these backwards-ass yanks get rid of that **** sooner than later. The USA is the only highly developed nation to have less than 10% atheists along with a bunch of third world countries. :-(

 

Supposedly Christian's believe they are all God's 'children', so it's not really arrogance in that sense. Supposedly God is always intervening in everything he's sort of like a major multitasker juggling man so he is

Son of God means that he is one of gods many children, that he believes in god and is a christian.

its annoying have it pushed in your face all the time when you are not religious, if he was muslim and doing it people would be likie 'shut the **** up already' but because hes christian its ok, thats a fact

Ward is one of the least arrogant men in Boxing, his only crime is declaring faith in something, which of course leads to athestic uproar.

 

The whole God and religion thing can get a bit tedious at times but i don't think Ward is an arrogant guy. In fact I see him as a very humble and polite man.

Its not arrogant at all imo. Ward believes in God so of course he is going to thank God. Its not like Ward is saying he is better than everyone, he is just a very religious person.

 

I'm not religious in any way and I find his bible basher antics a bit much at times, but I'm not going to dislike the man personally or stop supporting him because of it. If he wants to thank 'God' for his win, that's his choice. If it makes him feel more confident going into the ring, well that's a huge plus for him. The man's a very, very talented Boxer, and I love to watch him fight. His views on religion are not going to interfere with that. As noted above, he's not referring to himself personally as the 'Son of God'. It's a blanket term for all humanity. A lot of people want to hate on Ward just because of all this. Forget about that **** and enjoy the man's skills.
