I'm amazed how technically correct Kell is though considering he's an Ingle fighter. Obviously last night wasn't the best indication but I think he could cause Khan some problems. He'll land the jab pretty regularly, and should have the reflexes to avoid many of Khan's flurries or straight lefts and rights. The best punches to cause Amir damage for me are the uppercut and a looping right hook. It doesn't really have to land, the mere sight of it puts the frighteners on him and has him back pedalling.
Luis 'the chef' galarza who's speciality is soup did ok considering he's only a part time boxer. We learnt as much about kell brook last might as we would have done had he stayed in his dressing room shadow boxing for five rounds. Hearn was talking about giving him exposure to the USA, but when he fought it was half empty and showtine didn't even show his fight live.
ere, muzza ya khan cocksucker, you do realise that a very large majority of professional boxers worldwide also have a day job don't ya,or do you think they have all made millions like your beloved amir:gayfight brook looked good last night,im not a massive fan,but he looks the part:thumbsup
so critising brooks tomato can opponent = 'khan cocksucker'. Stop lieing and saying ur not 'a massive fan' of brook bcos u seem massively over protective of him and it obviously hits a nerve when brook is critsized. 'Brook cocksucker'.
It was about getting him used to the American environment, he doesn't want to be going to America for the first time in a world title fight! Kell is actually getting a few Americans talking about him too
Nobody is asking him to fight for a world title in his first fight, just a decent opponent. Someone earlier mentioned someone like soto karass who brook I think would beat but it would be a good learning fight & a bit competitive.
He will fight someone of Karass' level next this was just a keep busy fight so he could keep his name out there. The aim here was just to get him used to the big occasion not to challenge him. His next fight will be against a legit top 15 WW
Kell Brook will go far (quite how far cant be determined yet) and hopefully The Hearns will not wait too long to match him with top opposition and he needs to keep fighting regular at this stage of his career.
Great way to get exposure in the states. Nothing like boxing a cook in a fight that wasn't broadcast to get the profile up...
