Ward says Bute needs to beat an A level guy to earn a shot.

Bute does need to build his name really, beating a big name builds the fight up. It makes sense to do so for everyone involved.

 

Come on now that makes perfect sense....Ward has some momentum now with this S6 tourney win...all Bute has to do is win a good fight gets some momentum and the fight happens and they can promote this better and make good money.

Before some of you go ape shyt...you have to understand the money side is just as much important in boxing today as the fight itself to the fighters and promoters...this is not gladiators per se.

Although its the least favorable for the fan the business side is still a big part of boxing and fans have to swallow that bad medicine with the good.

 

most bute fans are saying the same thing, no problem with facing froch or kessler first. but having to dialog with people who clame bute is unworthy is dillusional. my only worry is that froch might not want to face him next, 2 loses in a row might be to mutch for him now, and kessler is busy.

 

Ward or Froch...they will not fight Bute at 168lbs...

 

Everyone knew this was gonna happen, Bute is far too risky at this point.

 

How about Dirrell?

 

It makes more economic sense to put Bute in with someone like Kessler before a fight with Ward. More exposure, more credibility.

 

i have no problem with this match up, the question is...showtime willing to give him another chance?
