I have to say, i thought the only way Froch could beat him was by a KO on his shakey chin, but last night Ward failed to show any real dominance.

I look at how Calzaghe killed Lacy, Froch is slow as hell, great heart, great chin, good power, some skills, bad defence and slow as hell, yet somehow, Ward managed to get tagged a lot, face busted up and didn't land many shots considering.

I think the 115-113 cards were right, the American judge was always going to be crazy, but Ward is really a bad hypejob. Frochs lack of speed and footwork should have made him a sitting duck for Ward. I like Froch as a fighter, but he lacks requirements needed to be a world class fighter, namely speed and a decent defence. For me, Ward was exposed as someone with excellent speed, moderate defence, zero power, and little heart. I iwll say he has a good inside game, but did get rough up a bit, fortunately the SMW is pretty barren right now, as is LHW, but I don't see him being undefeated for too log should a fast aggressive fighter show up on the scene.

I actually agree with your sentiment slightly...

I was a little disappointed in Ward's perfomance, most notably his looping punches that missed a lot. I also think he got way too sloppy after Round 9.

First off you compare Froch to Lacy, you sir don't know **** about boxing and you it was the British judge that had the fight 118-110 not the American, the American and Canadian had it 115-113 (which is total bull****), ****ing hating bitter **** and stop bitching...*****!

I got the fight now downloaded.
Had to put the speed x2 to make sure i wasnt watching 34year old Froch in slowmo.

Froch was there for the taking, ward just doesnt have the punch.

Who cares which judge gave it, he was obviously pressurised because of his nationality to give a crazy scoreline.

You're clearly dimwitted as you resort to ad hominem to try substantiate an argument with no substance.

Is Ward a better boxer? yes, does he have better defence? yes, is he much faster? yes, does he have much better footwork? yes, so why did he look so bad and got tagged a lot against a very slow plodding guy?

Ward outlanded Froch by nearly 100 punches.

He didnt get exposed, we knew he didnt have big punching power to begin with.

I also don't see how you can say Ward has no heart.

Sounds like you are being bitter and unreasonable and trying to embarass us Brits.

did a lot of clinching and spoiling too. Froch tagged him plenty. This wasnt a one sided shut out. Froch had his moments.

Ward said he thought Froch was gonna be slow but gave him the benefit of the doubt...Then when fighting him was actually suprised by how slow he really is :lol:

Like Froch but he is very sluggish.

    You DKSAB.

What last night proved was that both are world class fighters but Ward was just a level above Froch. Froch is slick, cagy and tricky as hell despite being slow.
