Ward didn't crush him but still won 9 rounds. Froch is a tough, game, kid. Hard to look superb against him. Ward did fade in the last 3rd of the fight. If it were a 15 rounder, might have been interesting.
You're not British, so don't try your trojan horse technique here. If you turned off the dreadful Sky commentry, you'd have seen Froch wasn't as out boxed as badly as he should have been, there were flashes, mainly in the middle rounds where Ward did what he should have done all night. The fact 2 judges who know a hell of a lot more about boxing than you gave a very close fight, shows that Ward was not even close to being dominant, he lost the last 3 rounds, and I think he lost 2 others along with it. Froch is possibly one of the slowest SMW's ever, and Ward should reflect upon this and ask why his face was so busted, why he didn't dominate considering his assets. People seem bent out of shape because I am highlighting how bad Ward actually looked when Froch was taylor made for him. He is more aggressive than Dirrel, with the same speed, yet Dirrel looked better in large portions of teh fight than Ward did.
The fact that 99% of the people who will post in this **** thread will disagree with you is confirmation enough for me to know that you are a hating not-picking fan who doesn't like Wards style, you obviously don't watch enough boxing at least not enough Ward fights, because Andre performed exactly the way he performs in every fight, how can you be surprised about his performance... Froch is slow but he is also akward and determined, with that said Froch won no more than 4 rounds and that's being modest, I had him winning only rounds 9 & 11 which were still close with 12 being the closest and Froch dominated no rounds, none... If sweeping a fight about 10rds to 2rds means looking bad I hope he always looks this bad...and saying Ward has no heart makes me question whether or not you have any sense at all...

Ward fought a very tough Froch. So what he didn't look good. Froch can actually fight. You're talking about the two very best smw's in the world. I thought Froch was actually coming on late. Ward kind of got tired, but he fought hard for the whole fight. Froch gambled and gambled wrong.

This post, and the reactions you will receive are probably the result of people assuming your bias based on how they view you, and not actually reading what you wrote... I am a huge fan of Ward, especially after meeting and talking with him at all the PW fights. But i couldn't agree with you more. I was a little disappointed in the way Ward was hit too much. And I think his punches were extremely wild at times. And yes, Froch was there to be hit, but Ward just couldn't seem to find the button, missing badly at times. I think 9-3 is accurate, but can honestly see 10-2, and 8-4. 7-5 is a little close for my liking, but I have seen stranger.
