both Ward and Froch need about 3 months off, then an easy fight for a change, then step up with either Kessler or Bute. I really don't think Kessler is all that good anymore, and Stieglitz isn't a draw anywhere in the world but Germany. IMO I'd rather see Bute-Ward than Pacman-Mayweather: at least there wouldn't be all the drama involved, just a great fight.

Bute would beat Ward I believe.....he is stronger than Froch and has more KO ability plus great body work. No disrepect to Ward who is proving to be a real fine boxer, but he doesn't have the power (especially in his right hand) to keep punchers off him.

Bute has no inside game. Ward would handcuff him all night with his excellent footwork, he would dishearten and beat the fight out of Bute. Ward is brilliant from range aswell. Took me ages to admit it but Andre Ward is a world class fighter.

Miranda, Kessler, Bika, Abraham and Froch all big punchers with serious power dealt with comfortably by Ward and were still going with this angle that Bute beats Ward because he is more powerful ? Come on you have to do better than that to make at least a valid case for a Bute win. That stuff just wears thin after a while.

Ok , lets say that Ward wants to fight with kessler again and Froch wants to fight with other fighter than Bute in UK & Dirrel will refuse an offer from Bute . It will be a great achievement for Bute to have a fight with Hopkins , as a tough opponent ??? .... if Hopkins will accept to fight with Bute at 170-175 pounds .

Froch vs Stieglitz/Kessler winner for the WBO

    Ward vs Bute for WBC/WBA/IBF

Then winner Ward/Bute vs Froch/Kessler/Stieglitz for unification WBC/WBA/IBF/WBO

Why does everybody forget that Bute got knocked out by Andrade, only to get 20 secs to get up just before this fight. The only fight Bute could reasonably take was an Andrade rematch to salvage his pride.

That being said, I do like Bute and totally feel he deserves a shot at Ward. I think Ward will take a break first and maybe fight his mandatory, to have an ease in to another big fight.

I can totally see Kessler-Froch 2 on the horizon. Really want to see that after the first fight.

If Bute doesn't deserve to fight Ward, who does?

Ward should stop fighting because no one is worthy of him?
Is Dirrel more worthy than Bute?
    Stieglitz???
    ?????????????????

So what if Bute got KO'd in the Andrade fight? I agree he should've lost, but he came back and got revenge big time and hasn't been hurt before or after. Fighters are allowed to lose, even by stoppage. In the first Andrade fight he dominated and was tired at the end, what was Andrade's excuse in the rematch?

Not only does Bute deserve the fight with Ward, but people forget Ward had two gimme fights in this tournament with Green and Bika, and had all his qualifier fights in his hometown. Then in the opener of the eliminator he fights Abraham who's on a two fight losing streak, with his last loss being a complete shut out. Given all the injuries and stuff, there shouldn't be any step aside fights, makes this fight happen by May 2012.

You sir must have been lost in the jungle when everything was clarified here a gazillion times...

Bute went down with only 4 seconds left and got up in 8 real seconds with no more time left on the time clock obviously, therefore even if the ref fell into a coma once Bute went down, Bute won fair and square.

Know the truth, know the rules and stop spreading false bull****. Thanks !

Froch's next fight probably will be with a low ranked/easy fighter in U.K . Ward will defend his titles against his mandatory challenger and then have a rematch with Kessler .
I don't know Dirrel situation , he's still in the business ?? ......... i think it will be Hopkins , next for Bute.

Bute has impressed and won the return with interest, I think he's improved since then and built his rep as champion.

Just answering lots of people who seem to forget why he prob wasnt in the S6 in the first place.

Seems like the Ward fans are scared of Bute, saying he doesn't deserve a shot...very sketchy talk from people who think he is top 5 P4P... :-(
