Yeah. Good Attitude Iceman.. I had Big Hopes for Froch.. time after time he has managed to prove wrong all the doubters and fight to win, giving his absolute all. He is not afraid anyone. There is nothing shame about losing, losing to the best. Carl Froch REALLY DARED TO BE GREAT. He tried it just didnt happen, didnt happen... you cant take anything away from him. He is everything What a Real boxers are all about. He was our Europeans last straw for stopping Andre Wards wreck train... didnt happen... We got nothing left now.. nothing... I am proud of Carl Froch. Guy was all heart and balls.. he wasnt gifted or skilled but he was just so tough man. It is all over now...
There are very, very few top boxer who have faced better opposition than he did in his last 7 fights, without exception. Massive respect for Froch, he showed class in defeat yesterday and didn't give up without a fight. I hope he can come back, although Ward will always be very difficult for him.
Last night unfortunately was a step to far for him, its great for Britian to have a fighter that composes himself with dignity and applaudes an opposing fighter after a defeat, especially after the despicable behaviour Khan has shown of recent.
Lucian is kind of European :deal How is it all over ? :nut Carl has a couple of good fights left yet. He's an exceptional fighter. :bbb I salute him
I still favor Froch in a rematch against Kessler and I also believe Carl would beat Bute, I think he grinds him down late and stops him while down on the cards..
I have a lot of respect for Froch. He faces tough opposition, and despite not being the most skilled or talented boxer, he makes the most of what he has. He took his loss like a man too. He's a credit to the sport.
Nothing but the utmost respect to Froch. Been a fan since the Taylor fight. No doubt he has one of the best resumes of any boxer in recent years. I've said for a while, if you don't like Carl Froch, you don't like boxing.
Froch has made a lot of fans with that resume. Joining the super 6 was one of the smartest decisions he could have ever made. It gave him world wide exposure and helped define him as one of the elite fighters in the division. Despite his losses, he has proved to be a warrior and can even be favored in beating Bute at this point in his career.
Bute's the dangerous wild card in all this. On one hand he's not a very durable fighter and can beknocked out. But on the other he's got so much speed, skill and power that he could easily be the first guy to knock Froch out. Its a winnable fight for Carl but as a fan of him I feel like he gets hit too much by faster fighters and even though he could win the fight health wise its not a fight I'd want to see him take. Yes its always fun to see the slow plouding power puncher try to chase down the speedy slickster but honestly after that Ward fight, if I was guiding Froch's career, I wouldn't put him in with a fast fighter for the remainder of his career.....James DeGale...maybe....(just cause I know he'd bash that lippy cunny up good ).
Great thread, I like froch..probably my fave white fighter atm. Comes to fight and keeps it real. I also think he would beat bute
Great resume, no question. He has guts, but he complete dumbass, and is nowhere near as good as he thinks he is. If he fights Lucian, he will get hurt, seriously.
Froch has nothing special except his woman. Andre Dirrell beat him IMO, Kessler beat him, and Ward beat him.
