Yeah laying on the ropes was never going to be a good idea, which is what Alexanders's manager Damon Reed (Mark's next opponent?) said. The highlights are a bit deceptive though, it took Mark the best part of most the rounds to actually pin Alexander down anywhere, then once he did thats when the 'Hit me' came in. Alexander would basically circle the ring non stop each round till he eventually got cornered. Suppose he just got overwhelmed when he finally got pinned down and could't work his way back out to keep doing his laps.
Alexander fought like a guy who'd spent a fortune at the dentist and didn't want it spoiled, and just invited Mark to cave his ribs in for him.
With thorpies voice training and intense weight lifting taking up most of his training shedule I don't think he has much of a chance. Sexyboxing atsch
I know we're all biased here, but how do you see Alex beating Mark. I see Alex not being able to catch Mark clean enough to slow him down to where Alex can start to hit him consistently and I see Mark being to slick, with to big of a gas tank and smarter plan eventually wearing Alex down with body shots and getting a late round KO or UD. When I watch their draw back in the beginning of their careers I see a better Alex but with the same style and a better Mark but who now is faster with a larger range or punches. If Alex couldn't KO Mark back then, would he do it now with the same brawling style. Not sold on who would win either way, just how I see it.
I remember seeing that fight at Broncos in Brisbane. Good stoush which had the crowd throwing money in the ring afterwards. Entertaining :good
did mark give you a hard on with his 'sexy boxing' ....? or is it false advertising? mark "viagra" demori.....!! .
From what i have seen on the video clips you can tell he is self trained or works out with a pad holder who does not correct his mistakes. He will do ok for the time being fighting no-named hand picked opponents that offer no threat, but against someone who can actually or wants to fight he will be given a boxing lesson and show his legion of fans that know **** all about boxing how much hype and little skills DeMori really has
Alex is fighting legit boxers, Mark wants to promote himself with hype and only spar and fight people he knows he can handle easily thus make him look good for the camera
