Charles and Spinks did end up winning titles at HW and Fitzimmons was a MW that ko'd a HW in his prime and also became LHW champ. Charles especially gives Moore a run for his money.

 Yea I know that's why I had to put "especially", but I know "The Ol Mongoose" gets alot of love as the greatest LHW champ. Charles, Moore, Spinks, and Foster all have a good argument just as Hagler and Monzon do as being Numero Uno in their respective divisions.

I think it's pretty clear cut, to be honest. Moore's case is at least as good as Tunney and the like and he failed on 3 separate occasions to best Charles. That's clear cut dominance over the 2nd best man ever in the division's history. Once he hit his stride, Charles was never beaten at LHW, and even beat a few Heavyweight contenders while weighing at or below 175lbs. Moore 3x, Bivins 4x, Marshall 3x, Maxim 5x, Ray, etc. His resume's insane, his ability level insane, his peak run at the weight insane. Robinson at Welterweight notwithstanding, I think Charles being the greatest ever at 175 is the easiest call to make on these lists.

And i'll agree that Moore is the greatest Light Heavyweight champ ever - He's just not the greatest Light Heavyweight ever.

The P4P Article http://www.eastsideboxing.com/news.php?p=29721&more=1 has all the individual top 10 breakdowns for the original 8 classes.

1,000 votes from the General, huh? That should prove interesting.
