He initiates jabs and the occasional straight right SOME of the time, The rest of the time he counters. He would be content to throw 20 jabs an call it a day if he could get away with it. He very rarely moves foward. Comparing Ward and Mayweather is off base. Floyd is more Chad Dawson. Jab jab straight right, counter counter counter counter, feint feint feint. I am in no way degrading Mayweather, it works and he is GREAT at it, its just boring. Ward initiates WAAAAAAY more offense, and on average throws 20+ more punches per round than Floyd. It's funny to see people make cotradicting arguments and then have the nerve to questions someone else's logic. Ward does not average 20+ more punches per round than Mayweather, and his punch output is actually similar to Dawson's. And the fact that you're saying that Mayweather rarely moves foward and is heavily dependant on his jab, makes me question if you're even paying attention to these fights.
