Do judges see what fans don't or do fans see what judges don't?

I'm not completely sure about that, but my guess is that they probably would have. The fight was at its most one-sided in the first half. Only when Carl decided to make it dirty and up the pressure, did Ward not look as dominating. So if there were any rounds to award Froch, they would have been from 7 onwards, in my opinion. Because to me it was a case of "Let's give Froch a few generous points, otherwise the scores are gonna' look too ridiculous."

Its interesting to see how people see things but whats crazy is how different some of the scores are.

I think that Brit judge was seen as the only judge who did'nt need to be bribed.
It happens that being brit did'nt influence his scoring.

they see a nice bag of cash from promoters before the fight that we fans don't see.

You can talk you want about: Effective agresiveness, meaningfull punches, ring generalship. Punch accuracy, or other things. However, there are no rules in profesional boxing on how to score a round. In the end it comes down to who you think was better for that 3:00. Nothing more nothing less.

anyone who's been ringside to a fight knows you get a feel for what's going on about 100 times better than watching it on TV. The judges get that even more by being practically on the ****ing apron.

Also, I scored it 116-112 for Ward and could easily see 115-113. ESB is notoriously **** at scoring fights.

If your in the bleachers you can really see a very different fight from TV, in a bad way.

If your ringside your going to have a better view, and you wont have Gus Robinson cheerleading for Ward in your ear.

Judges at the ringside can be bribed by promotors.

What Judges and fans see is almost exactly the same. Both sides will see it differently only when judges are bribed.

I only gave Froch 2 rounds, and both times I was being generous...and that's from a guy that was rooting for Froch the whole time.
