    no need to rush into it tho. Ive always said i think Bute should fight the S6 loser to prove his worth. i think bute should also go after the WBO to make a REAL undisputed fight

    That "guantlet" makes Bute looks like he fought amateurs over the last 3 years.


    It's guys like you that makes a LOT of people root against Bute.

    As a Froch fan it's clear he's getting on in his career after all the wars he's had he deserves a payday and if this guarantee's himself 2 big paydays fair enough.

    He tried but Steigltz refused to even entertain the idea. I'd be interested in hearing how Bat tries to spin this, i hope people realize Kessler avoided Bute.

    Well, Keith. With the so called cream of the crop locked in a tournament, you can't seriously say Bute had lots to choose from over the past 3 years.

    You should maybe consider he was #2 behind Kessler when the S6 started, and has been saying he wants the S6 winner for over a year now.

    Kessler was a great win, way back in stage 1 of the S6.

    The Green & Bika fights are nothing to write home about.

    Abraham had been exposed for having difficulty with movement, in both the Dirrell & Froch fights.

    Froch was a great win, I already tipped my hat to Ward for it in two other threads.


    Ward doesn't need "a break". He needs to see more of Bute in his own opinion. He flat out said "Bute needs to be fighting A level fighters"... and Kessler is fighting Stieglitz in April.

    Did Calzaghe tell Kessler to go fight Bika or Lacy first before they met in the ring?

    After Froch beats Bute twice, nobody will even care about Ward facing Bute.

    Ward should move onto bigger and better.
