    don't know about that. calzaghe resume is so **** a lesser fighter could easily surpass him never mind Ward. sorry you don't give title shots to blown up middleweights likw Manfredo and guys like Branko Sobot etc and deserve overblown mythical hype.

    **** sake if Bute beats Froch and Ward moves up to light heavy and beats Hopkins he would match Calzaghes overrated achievments.

    Froch is cashing out guys, this will be three bad beatings he takes in a row!

    Froch and Ward should take a softer touch opponent (especially Froch who should rebuild after the beatdown he took . . . ****ing shitty management).

    Bute will get the big name he deserves on his resume (after Kessler, Stieglitz and Pavlik all chose not to take up the challenge).

    End result Bute-Ward end 2012 or early 2013

    Froch becomes a gatekeeper (he was boxings best overachiever for the last 6 years or so . . . time to settle in to his proper role)

    Huh?? Ward beat Kessler , Froch lost to Kessler..both beat Abraham, Ward beat Froch. Ward beat Bika who is a tough out and Froch beats Johnson another tough out. Not sure why you feel Froch had a harder route. Maybe it's because Ward made it look easy and Froch made it look hard to get to the final?!? At any rate, Froch and Bute should fight with the winner to get Ward, that way if Froch wins, he proves again that he's the 2nd best in the division and if Bute wins, he proves he deserves the shot.

    Ward didn't give him atitle shot only ****ing cherry picking filth like Bute would do that. Ill give Lucian the benefit of the doubt now but if he doesn't fight a top guy in 2012 he can go **** himself.

    Froch could have fought Bute instead of Tatevosyan for the IBF eliminator but turned it down

    So using your type of "facts" Williams beat Lara. Scorecards said so.

    Nice excuses :patsch I guess they suit your argument just like you said Lemiuex would beat Martinez :rofl. The facts are Froch beat Magee and Tatevosyan more impressively than Bute

    You got all hung up on the gauntlet word I used. Holy **** get over it dude, Ward has had a nicer road to the finals than Froch, and has fought twice a year only since the beginning of the tourney. He doesn't NEED a break, he needs to watch Bute vs Froch and needs a bigger build-up to a Bute fight. Apparently does not want to take advantage of unworthy Bute, grab the 3rd belt and move on to Kessler's future WBO title to get all 4.

    Crying about the BIAS in ^^^^ is being a *****. :lol:

    Look at you getting butthurt at something that was posted to argue somebody else's point of view :good

    Ward doesn't need a break. He could fight Bute in April and get the 4th belt before the end of the year.

    But he won't. Time will pass, mandatories will come. It's all good, I had called Bute vs S6 runner-up as Bute's next fight. :good
