StimpyThePest has already proven to some extent for the last several months that he's somewhat mentally challenged, so lets not hold it against him...

You Ward nuthuggers are as boring as Son of Goat. Seriously get a life! For one thing Froch is a uni-dimensional brawler and Bute is a skilled boxer. There is no comparison between these 2.

I would favor Ward right now. Bute has all the aresenal to beat Ward except what it needs most: a way to close the distance.

I've recenlty watched all Ward's fights except 3or 4 pro figts, (also watched 3 amateur bouts). He is incredible with the distance. Like Froch said after the fight: he is either too close or too far away.

Bute fought mostly fighters that put a lot of pressure without keeping the distance. That's why I was extremly impressed with his last performance agains Glen, which I still find his best 'till date. However, his best name on the resume is Bika.

To conclude: Bute needs to find a "cure" for Ward's distance and he won't find that fighting Froch. He needs to do it in his trainings a lot.

Bute is no joke. He has a really solid left to the body. That is going to cause problems for anyone. And the way he creates space for it is pretty remarkable. That being said, Ward will grind out a KO victory.

I really like Butes style, im not sure if it could logically give Ward too many problems though

Yup, Bute can beat him. And I think he will if they fight. Ward not too interested in Bute now. Wants lo let him fight an A lister 1st. Bute should beat Froch or Kessler and then Ward hss no excuses.

Bute can KO anybody in the SMW division both outside or inside. First time he dropped Andrade in the remach was with a clean, short and also strangely powerful shot (the power he put behind that short left hook surprised even Lennox Lewis in the HBO live coverage). What I'm saying is that, even if Ward can get inside with Bute - and he probably will, the match is still far from being finished. That is, in fact, what makes the fight so interesting to watch. In my book, Froch was bound to lose the S6 final the minute he let Ward come close to him. What troubles Ward is that Lucian Bute can do very well in close range. He has the skill and power to come up with some serious shots even on the inside. I find Bute quite impredictible.

It may very well be a wide UD for Ward or a KO for Bute. I personaly think Lucian Bute can win this. He is somehow untested, but there is more to him than what we've seen so far. Anyway, by looking at Bute's and Ward's styles of boxing, I say that they match up pretty well. They both have questions and answers for each other. That's why I want to see Bute - Ward as soon as possible.

PS: I think that no one who knows something about boxing can be 100% sure about who will be the winner of Bute vs. Ward. It is a close match, with Andre Ward being slightly favourite. Still, the whole thing can go the other way easily.

I think Bute's body shots could end up deterring Ward from pushing in on Bute. Ward could end up eating some uppercuts as well.

The thing about Ward is.....he always seems to be able to impose his will on his opponent.

I'm still favoring Ward in the fight.

Im sure Bute's uppercut will connect with Ward's head at some point. Would be a great fight cos Bute is not slow like Froch but I believe Bute has genuine KO power especially with the uppercut. Would love to see this fight.

Bute's hand speed, foot work, angles, and one punch power is going to be very challenging for Ward.

Again, I feel Bute is the only man in the division that can and could very well beat Ward, and not just a puncher's chance.

I favor Bute as I have since this match up was initially entertained a year or two ago.
