What was the best round of Holyfield vs. Cooper? (i'm drawing a blank). I love pretty much every round of that fight though. Might watch it again to decide, i would definitely nominate a round from that fight.

    Well, so far we have.

Hagler/Hearns for round 1 (pretty much a lock).

Olivares/Rose for round 2 (unless anyone disagrees).

    Morales/Barrera for round 5.

    Gatti/Ward for round 9.

    Bowe/Holyfield or Castillo/Corrales for round 10.

Just the second round wasn't the best, that's all...

That's round 1 Widdy, which is a great round!

This thread is about round 2 :good Even considering how exciting the first round was, little of that rolled into the 2nd round. And in the 3rd Hagler battered Tommy when he realised he might get stopped on a cut.

  10. I think he meant the second round wasn't that cracking.

Gaz isn't a fan of Hagler vs Hearns anyway ;)

My list is my favourite round for each round.... I'd have the first round of Hagler vs Hearns over any other first round.

What round did Haye get knocked the **** out by Thompson in?

[Yes I know he wasn't KTFO but I felt like saying it..... ;)]

  11. Marquez vs Diaz I round 8?

Probably not the best round but I love round 12 of Morales vs Pacquiao I.

Just take it as a standalone round mate, sure you'll see where we're coming from.

And when picking 'the greatest 2nd round ever' I'd say it's fair to be a bit picky ;-)
