I think he held him up because the KO shot he took was after the bell. Seemed to diffuse the situation. :)

He held him up because Galazara was meant to win. Showtime had been building him up as the next Tito. Kell Brook was brought over to lose - the ref new this. Its like Foreman Cotto. not even Corrupt judges (they had Kell losing every round at the time of the stoppage) and a corrupt ref could Stop Brook on saturday.

    Cheers for posting that.

He really slips and blocks punches well, seems to see them coming a mile off. Of course, put him in with someone who's got better handspeed and it won't be as effective. Still though, he looked very good at times. Another 10 seconds in that first round and it was over.

This. But Brook was like a raging snake in there, there was no stopping him.

He relies a little too much on reflexes & anticipation for my liking, he has a decent guard when he uses it.

He also backs off in a straight line sometimes without tucking his chin away. Against a higher level of opponent he might get caught more than he should.

Still I thought it was an impressive performance& Kell gained the experience of fighting in the US for the 1st time.

Here's part 2 if anyone wants to watch the last 2 rounds.....

    Don't think so.
THe 10 sec signal was just a couple of seconds prior.

Bad action. But he kinda fell into him.

Which is a big thing for him. He said himself afterwards that it's completely different fighting in the States. Good start for him though.
