Somebody posted this earlier in the thread and I agree with the bloke...

    Rounds 1 and 2 close
    Round 5 Froch
    Rounds 10 and 11 close
    Round 12 Froch

If you give Froch the benefit of the doubt then its easy to see how you get 115-113 cards...if you give him no benefit then you have the 118-110. There is no way that that was a schooling like some suggest...its just that the rounds that Ward won he won very clearly whereas Froch had to scratch around for his.

    115-113 is 7 rounds to 5.

That is winning by 2 rounds.

TBH some of the rounds Ward really didn't put his stamp on, he won em for me but i can see judges scoring Froch's raids to body etc. Ward towards end tiring was rather strange i didn't actually expect that from him as fight wore on.

Edit: 115-113 is still a bit to close for comfort, 116-112 probably closest i could go with a scorecard.

Or just give one of Wards rounds to Froch.

  9. It's still winning 7 rounds to 5. It's winning by 2 rounds.

Yeah it is, but if you score one round the other way its either 6-6 or 8-4.

On an unrealted note, judges dislike of scoring even rounds is a massive contributory factor towards lots of **** scores.

  11. Thanks for that.
