Ward has already made his excuses to The Ring. All his crap about bumps and bruises was hilarious – he’s had two genuine top-flight opponents in Kessler and Froch, interspersed by Green, Bika and Abraham. Hardly a murderers’ row when you consider Bute beat Bika already when he was still developing as a fighter.

There’s no excuse for Ward to reject that fight unless he wants an easy defence. That would be acceptable IMO. But I have the feeling Ward will reject the fight unless he gets it in California. And I bet everyone will blame Bute.

Froch is a ****ing G. Will fight anyone, anywhere.

I thought Kessler has lined up a Bute fight once he beats Stieglitz?

winning wide on the cards does not = winning with ease. Froch made it hard for Ward for 12 rounds and pushed until the final bell, There is nothing Froch did that made it easy for Ward. Just look at Wards hand after the fight. Ward is very Skillful, and still wins wide in the toughest fight of his career, that's a testiment to his amazing talent. But did he win easily? no I don't think so, go ask ward, 'was it easy winning a 12 decision against Carl Froch'. ****ing noobs aint stepped in a ring.

Outclassing a beating your opponent up IS tiring, that's true.

It was embarrassingly one sided. After two rounds the few people who believed Froch stood any chance knew then that he had none.
Next you will be telling us Jeff Lacy was a tough fight for Calzaghe because Joe hurt his hands smashing them on Jeffs head for 12 rounds.

Well, I don't see how that fits in with a two fight deal between Froch and Bute. Plus, at the post fight press conference a Kessler fight was the one Ward sounded most receptive to.

When Bute beats him and makes him look like crap no one will want to see a rematch.

Especially keeping shape and speed like Ward does. Even more so when You've unloaded your best shots for 12 rounds and your opponent is still pressing forward regardless... Yer real easy that is, I think I might turn pro and go win some world titles its so easy.
