Really hope Peterson wins the rematch.

 

Pretty sure Goldenboy/Team Khan knew they would lose the appeal, they just wanted to make their thoughts official. At the end of the day the Ref is the sole arbitor of calling fouls, and pushing is a foul even if points are not usually deducted for it. In my opinion the ref was biased, but you can't overturn the result based on opinion. Rewatching the fight, Khan wasnt in as much trouble as the overly dramatic sky commentary team were making out. He got caught on the ropes a few times, but he came out firing his usual combos off often enough to take the rounds, Peterson fought very bravely and i dont begrudge him the win but he never won the fight in my opinion and the opinion of a lot of neutral commentators.

 

I really wouldnt blame Lamont if he said **** a rematch. Khan is giving Peterson no credit at all and while Khan doesnt have to like it be a bit more dignified in defeat.

 

Its all down to Khans intelligence or lack of, honestly your better off talking to a plant IMO, I look at Khan, hear him talk and can't stop thinking to myself that, the wheels still turning but the hamster is dead ladies and gentleman, he's like Mungo out of the film Blazing Saddles.

 

Khan has given Peterson credit on the way he fought, and has said that his opinion that he was cheated out of the fight is nothing against peterson.

I dont see the need for a rematch if Peterson doesnt want it. both can move on to different challenges.
