    :rofl

He has already 2 defeats and was broke by a tough tournament. I can se some Ward's fans saying that soon.

Yes, that is good. If they really made this two-fight deal, then that is great.

Bute has an advantage because he gets the chance to mentally get to Froch if he wins clearly in Montreal. On the other hand Froch's advantage is that he keeps the belt if they both win one fight.

    Well then...no doubt that: Froch's balls > Ward's

I just hated the "he doesn't diserve" explanation. Your way to explain it is perfect.

    It's coming...

But they'll begin with: Froch is gonna beat that protected/hyped/glass jaw bum.

    Then, Froch was done.

Yeah, I can see that too.

But that would be ridiculous. Froch isn't broken at all. Sure, he had a tough run, but that has also helped him learn. He is surely a better fighter now than when the Super 6 started. Then take a bit away for wear and tear and not feeling invincible anymore... and we are probably back to square one.

Froch is of course a great opponent for Bute.

It makes perfect sense for me also. .... It's just that Ward never said the things you would like him to have said. He just trash-talked Bute. He said Bute doesn't belong in the same ring with him because he fought B and C level fighters. He never said that Bute might be the hardest one in his career or anything close to that. On the contrary.
Maybe you should propose to do speeches for him because he seems to lack the class you would like him to have.
What you just said means that Ward wants to buid up a huge fight vs. Bute. Man, that would have been joy to our ears. But nope... Bute is just a weak fighter according to Ward.

Is the 2nd fight guaranteed or a clause? It would suck to make Bute fight him again after dominating in the first fight.

If Froch beats Bute, that sets up an even bigger payday for Ward vs Froch. S6 championship revenge rematch with more belts on the line? Sounds like a legit PPV to me. Smells like.....$$$$$$$$$.

That would be ridiculous (but yeah, some people will probably say it). Froch has had some tough fights, but hasn't had an absolute, barn-burning war in the S6. His fight against Kessler was closely contested and high-intensity, but they didn't have to be carried away in stretchers after the fight. He had an easy night against Abraham, was more outslicked than beaten down by Ward and Dirrell, and took some shots against Johnson, but nothing beyond the scope of what a boxer can expect.

Froch should still very much be at or near his prime. If anything, I've seen him improve over the course of the S6, turning into more of a boxer-puncher than a crude brawler.

Why does that balding Romany Canuck get the first home fight? After Froch beasts him, he'll conveniently lose his passport, & the Cobra fans will be deprived of a deserved homecoming win...

Who wouldn't want to see a Ward vs. Froch II right now?

Ha, I feel like I'm flowing against the stream man. I really don't believe that rematches are necessary unless there was a controversy in the first fight or if the fight was a FOTY candidate. I partially understand the Kessler vs. Ward II, even tho I would strongly favour Ward but I do not understand why a Froch vs. Ward II should take place in the next couple of years.
Who, as a boixng fan, gives a **** on those belts?

I think Ward, along with some of the other S6 contestants interviewed recently, are annoyed by Bute, which would explain the attitude you saw. In their mind, Bute is taking some kind of easy parallel route to reach the same destination, and they don't see it as fair.

To be honest, if I spent 2.5 years fighting my heart out against some of the best talent in super middleweight history, and the first question someone asks me after finally winning the tournament is, "so when are you going to fight Bute to see who is really #1?", I would be angry too. In a way, it insults what the S6 participants accomplished by giving a non-participant equal attention and status.
