Please stop with the warrior bullsh!t, boxing is a business. Only reason Froch is fighting Bute is because he's coming off a dominating loss and is lucky enough to get a shot at the biggest draw in the division. Also he's getting a 50/50 deal and a rematch clause, something Kessler didn't get. Not to mention he's 34 yrs old and has been in a lot of wars, he doesn't have time to mess around he needs to take every big payday he can get.

Bute offered Kessler a shitty deal and wanted Ward to make a decision 2 days after he won the super 6. Come on now.

    True that.

Froch's now in a position where he needs someonelike Bute to bounce back from that schooling.

I'm not sure about this two-fight deal, though. It could turn out to be pointless. Because if Bute dominates Froch in Canada, is there really any need for him to go ahead with another fight? I know it'll be in Nottingham, but still, it's just further delaying the most important match-up to be made right now (Ward).

You want to make a thread shitting on a guy who not only fought the best in his division, but did it in their back yards, and doesn't even want to take an easy defense or two afterwards, but jump right into two dangerous fights with Bute? Some fan you are.

props to Froch for backing up his words

I thought after getting dominated by Ward he would avoid any fast and skilled boxer

    and Bute definitely hits harder

if I were Froch's camp I would fight a soft touch or two and try to get Kessler in the ring

Ward said he won't face Bute because Bute need to fight bigger challenge.

Now Bute doing what it take to have a shot at Ward , what's wrong with that?

**** thread. Froch fights the best back to back and we get great matchups and get to watch great fights because of it. What's the problem in that. If you don't respect Froch for his matchmaking then you aren't a fan of boxing.

Arum confirmed Kessler was offered less than $3 mil to fight Bute which is a joke because Kessler himself offered Froch £5 mil (about $7 mil) for a rematch if he had won the tournament.

Yup, he can't afford to turn a title shot and a big payday. There's probably a clause in the contract that says if both parties agree they'll cancel the rematch.

Where did I **** on him? I just explained the real reason why he's fighting Bute, it was a business move nothing more nothing less.

Defense of what? He has no title.

yes, because it's unheard of for a fighter to take a nice easy confidence building fight at home to bounce back from a loss isn't it. All fighters come straight from a loss and enter a two fight deal with a champ and highly rated fighter, the first being on the other guys home turf.

When did I say I had a problem with that? I'm just saying it's a business move, like any other matchup in boxing. You just happen to like it so you're praising Froch.
