I don't see any concrete signs of him being hateful although I can see why others say otherwise. I'd call it harsh criticism. But that's hardly uncommon or surprising considering the things ESPN's Bayless and Wilbon say about Mayweather. Then there are Roger and Sr. who never have anything positive to say about Pac.

Things likely to weigh on Sergio's mind:

-He feels they robbed a great fighter in Marquez (a lot of people feel the same)
-Pac said he'd give Sergio a chance to fight at 150 but balked
-He believes Pac's fights have been cherry-picked
    -Bob Arum
-Doesn't see anything special about Pac's skills
    -Too much Pac hype
-Delusional Pac fans who say MP would KO Sergio
-He feels he's being snubbed (he's got hollywood looks, is a humanitarian, knocks people out yet doesn't get noticed by casual fans)
-Fraud-like actions (winning fake titles, defeating bigger but drained fighters, etc.)

At the end of the day you can't really say Sergio is picking on Pac. It's more of a situation where he gets asked specific questions and answers them.

Agreeded, if he wanted to really cement his legacy their some good,

young fighters at MW he could fight but their more risk then reward to

him at this point, Cotto at 154 would be fun to see even Ward or Bute at

    168. I know he went's that one big money fight before he's done but

their are other big fights for him if he wants them other then Maywether

    and Pac

sexy sergio should STFU and start challenging super-middleweights, lots of a talent as well there. Ward, Froch, Bute. Stop challenging welterweights.

He's jealous that Pacquiao, above his starving teenager weights, has a dominant win over an all-time great in Marco Antonio Barrera and struggles with all-time great Juan Manuel Marquez while he struggles to win rounds off of Darren Barker prior to getting a KO (whereas Pacquiao, during his green days, experienced a similar thing to a much better fighter in Chatchai Sasakul). **** Martinez. He wouldn't beat Hugo Corro if we're talking Argentine middleweights.

Pac is one of 2 people rated higher than him P4P. The top guys will always have a target on their back. This is to be expected.

However while I really like Sergio, he should keep the **** talking to fighters closer to his own size unless someone smaller calls him out.

IDK. If he thinks JMM won,why doesn't he just badger JMM to fight him? He continues to bully these welter weights and claims he can't fight andre ward and all cause he's to small when we know he's weighed in 170 fight night and claims he weigh 158. Its like a HS kid who's a senior picking on a scrawny freshmen cause his odds are higher to win then to fight someone his own size.

    Jealousy...that's all

Martinez can't believe that an Asian midget can make so much money fighting no hopers but he can't sell **** fighting no hopers also.

Sergio is the #1 ***** I'd like to see thrown back to obscurity where he belongs and it doesn't even have to do with Pac, Floyd or Cotto necessarily. He annoys me to death that he thinks he deserves so bad what the other guys works decade or more to establish. Bum fought nobodies, homeless people, drug dealers with losing records for his entire career and then in a 1 1/2 year little stretch draws with a crybaby, beats a once beaten drunk shlub by close fight, loses to the King of the Most Overrated in History then KO's him and thinks he's a Christ figure. He's right up there with that other ***** Khan who I want to see KTFO the most of all!

He's jealous because Manny, a non-American like himself, is getting all the praise without having to even try. So he tries the Mayweather path to success by talking **** and looking like an idiot in the process. He calls out a guy who IMMEDIATELY after fighting Margarito said that he will never fight above 147 again. Someone who is two divisions lower than him, while Martinez himself can't even go up one division to fight better fighters :patsch:lol:

yeah i have problems with sergio. why does he fite at 160 if he call out welterweights. i never really understood why martinez moved up to 160 if his wishes are fighting may or pac then y isnt he fighting at 154. i kno hes 2 small to make 147 . but i kno he can make 154 becuz if he would fight pac or may it would be at jr middle obvisouly i would think . and if he wants to make big money 154 is the place to be. he could fight cotto or canelo and significantly increase ur chances of pac v may happening .

instead he fights guys at 154 and makes them move up to 160 . like serg dzinziruk and p will . the fight he losed to p wil the first time was at 154 the second was at 160. the kelly pav fight was legit for serg but the fight vs barker was unacceptable and he didnt even look that impressive but then again he knocked the guy out wut else more do we expect. still serg needs to move down to 154 to make everyone believers of nething he says
