    When the likes of Giggs are winning it can't have a lot to do with their actual personality though.

    But he is probably not going to the Olympics (because of the Tour de France), so giving a non Olympian cyclist the award, knowing they are going to get screwed over next year, does not seem fair.

    Purely on achievement this year, the award should go to Donald.

    Nah it don't it's just a sports awards IMO, I don't even bother watching after that bint who won. Riding ****ing horses over obstacles ffs..

    Not surprised who started it? Yes, because I have a track record of being anti-Khan, having supported him in every fight since Prescott.

    Also, would you mind explaining the irrelevance? Khan (who is boxer, remember) is up for the sports personality of the year award while currently receiving widespread criticism for his behaviour since suffering a loss less than two weeks ago. Hmmm, a thread on a boxing forum about a boxer being up for SPOTY, who has just spent a week displaying an awful personality That all seems pretty relevant to me. :think

    And to answer you final point, if Khan continues to act as has done in the last week then I probably do have a better chance of winning the sports personality award, because he sure as **** won't.

    Khan for Sports personality of the year? ive seen more personality in a ****ing dishcloth,although he'll get the Asian vote no doubt.

    It is in Britain, and done on a phone vote; thus Asians cannot vote. And in what context, do you think Asians would vote for him anyway?
