Lightweight is a tough one, so many to choose from, I had Gans down but changed it.

As for Bivins it's more of a personal choice, been reading a lot about him lately and I'm a big fan.

Bivins was a great fighter. His 4 yet unbeaten run is one of the best in history IMO

yeah and he beat some really great boxers in Moore, Charles, Burley and Marshall as well as solid world level boxers in Lesnevich, Maxim and Savold to name a few. Severely underrated boxer in my eyes.

Maybe the odd slightly different name or two for consideration. Not to say that the choices are entirely defendable.

Heavy: Louis. Hon mentions to Ali, Holmes and Liston.

Light heavy: Charles. Hon mentions to Conn, Langford and John Henry Lewis.

Middle: Monzon. Hon mentions to Greb, Holman Williams and Mike Gibbons.

Welter: SRR. Hon mentions to Rodriguez, Gavilan and Burley.

Light: Leonard. Hon mentions to Ortiz, Gans and McFarland.

Feather: Pep. Hon mentions to Saldivar, Driscoll and Armstrong.

Bantam: Jofre. Hon mentions to Dixon, Zarate and Harada.

Fly: Canto. Hon mentions to Lynch, Perez and Chang.

All of those mentions are completely reasonable Ribs.

If I was including Light Fly Chang would be up there. Technically he should've been Lineal Flyweight champ anyway, so yeah, no composite there.

    J.H Lewis: Top 10 without a doubt.

Gibbons: Yes, yes, yes. Same goes for Williams.

Packey: Damn right. Certainly a lock for te upper tier of P4Pers.

Rodriguez: A top ten lock for Welter and Middle IMO.

Luis has come up a fair bit so far, and it caught me off gaurd tbh.

All I really know about him was regarding the Griffith fights we're he particularly excelled (despit his losing record in the 4 outings).

But I may need to brush up a fair bit. I'll check your post out :good

Yeah, he definitely got the short end of the stick against Griffith. Clearly his superior IMO (and most people's opinions!)

Middle and Welter resume: ****in' stacked mate.

:bowdown Here Flea, you can have one of these in return mi old mucker. I think I might plagiarize Vano's idea and start a 'best British fighters in the original 8 weight classes'. See who people come up with.
