    Hey Guys

I'm a fan of both Ward and Bute and I want that fight (after Ward has rested).
I know Bute wants the fight but most probably on his terms, I currently rank Ward above Bute for winning the Super Six and fighting elite level opponants.

However Bute fills up 16'000 seater arena's in Montreal....plus ppv TV rights in

Canada and his showtime deal, plus Romanian money....he is the white Floyd Mayweather of canada in monitory terms....
He does not need Ward.....but will his legacy count for anything if he can't get these top guys now at SMW?[FONT=&quot]

He may be a big earner but if he wants to leave a defining legacy he needs to get his ass into gear and get some big names on his resume.
Reading between the lines of what some of his fans say(the sensible, realistic guys who can discuss the matter without being silly) I think Bute's biggest problem is his promoters.
They don't want to risk the golden goose.I'm sure Bute is desperate to fight in America and take on the bigger names.

Bute could fill the Rose Bowl in Montreal, Ward might be able to fill a high school gym in Oakland, with a good opponent.

He needs the big names in his resume in order to build a strong legacy. And they will come...

Bute vrs. Froch (or Bute vrs Kessler) would be great fights, potential classics. Against Ward, Bute would get his ass handed to him. It's not a hard choice.

Personally I really want to see Bute/Froch.

Okay then. He can stay in Montreal fighting garbage, good life but he isn't making the HOF.

This fight needs to happen in Canada. There's where it makes business sense. Unless they can get one of the casinos to cough up big site fee moolah.

Goosen said it. Ward can put 16,000 people in Oakland... But not for now, Ward is tired and need a rest while the fans want that fight. You have the guy who almost everybody consider the 2nd best of the division wanting to fight you and the most lucrative of them and you say: "I am tired and I need a rest". That is everything bit just not HOF material.

Ward just beat the number 2 fighter in the division with one hand and won a tournament where the Americans were supposed to get steamrolled, but how dare he want to take some time off. Maybe if Bute was fighting the likes of Mikkel Kessler and Carl Froch, instead of Jesse Brinkley he would also need a break.

i think there's a strong chance he will fight ward. he doesn't come across as one of those legacy don't pay bills type of people. at this point based on level of opposition i still have ward at the top followed by froch, then bute.

Ward is delusional if he thinks there are bigger fights out there. I would like to see how many people will Ward draw in his next fight in Oakland. Hopkins, Dawson, Dirrel(both brothers) cannot draw ****. Not even 50k ppv. If Kessler doesn't want the rematch (I think he will only fight Ward in Denmark) then Ward will fight nameless mandatories in Jokeland for peanuts for years to come.
