I used to LOVE Hopkins. Absolutely love him. then as age got him he turned into one giant *****. Things got a little rough for him the in the Jones fight, he pissed himself all over the ring. The Dawson fight was a pure disgrace.

He has turned into a ****ing clown.

As for Ward-Bute, I think Bute has a chance to win for sure. I like BUte as a fighter. I hate his dumb ass fans. No boxing knowledge at all, just a love for a fighter because he's from the same country as them. Pure ignorance.

Bute is sneaky with his punches because they come fast from a low angle. However in order for them to fire off like that, he has to drop his hands. Low hands against a fighter with superior handspeed like Ward, presents a risk.

Bute's only chance is a ko, or he hurts Ward bad enough in a round to discourage him for letting his offense go. I say ward 70/30 in this one.

As for Bute Hopkins, I am all about Bute in this one. Prime for Prime, no chance for Bute. But NOW, Bute picks him apart into a late round stoppage, or Hopkins pulls some cheap stunt like claiming a low blow for a shot to the solar plexus. Hopkins can only win against an undisciplined fighter nowadays, and Bute is not that.

My predictions Ward 116-112 over Bute. Bute ko-9 Hopkins.

Hopkins ducked that fight for as long as possible, then before 6minutes were up gat the hell out of there.

I'll say this: nobody here - and everywere for that matter, really knows what will happen in a Bute vs Ward fight. These are all more or less biased assumptions, with no tangible proof to sustain them. There is though one fact regarding Ward vs. Bute. Andre Ward did not want to fight him at this point. I don't know if you can call this a duck, but what I do know is that Bute can not be held accountable for not wanting to make the fight happen. He want it, said it, hell, some say he even trained for it.

Let's put it this way, Ward ducked Bute more than Bute ducked Ward. However, it is OK to ask for a break and fight some easy bouts.

That's an arrogant and stupid thing to say. I think A. Ward took the right call by avoiding Bute now, but, IMO, he said some pretty stupid things in his post match interview.

In other words, it was Ward decision to fight the easy opponents even if there is still one undefeated SMW World Champion available to fight, one who has beaten all the opposition clearer than anybody else (except the Andrade accident) and one who has already said out loud that he wants to fight you in USA. I mean, who cares Bute hasn't fought A level boxers, I certainly don't. Boxing isn't mathematics to know from the start what will happen in a fight. For example, I've seen some really good right hooks in Bute vs. Johnson wich I was not expecting to see. I mean, let's look at the SMW rankings. There is Ward and than there is Bute, and they're both

As a conlcusion, I'm sure Ward refused to fight Bute because the romanian is an unnecesary risk for him at this point. Whoever says Ward beats Bute in 10 out of 10 fights is just plain stupid. The match is a potential unification of three belts, there is no sure winner. I agree that A. Ward is very hard to beat, but I reckon that Bute is the only SMW that can do it at this moment. 60-40% Ward, but I personally wouldn't find a Bute win utterly surprising.
