He could just get them beaten :think I understand that every Allegedly fighter has a clause in their contract that if they lose twice they can be cut loose - in a similar way to how the Hatton's ditched Kenny Anderson. NO MAS is my source here, not sure where he heard it from mind. I'm not sure, it ought to be, or at least a bond of sorts should be. With a lot of fighters relying on ticket money for their wages though this would be difficult to police, surely?
Doubt it. Presumably he is still going to be promising more money than most other UK promoters would to their fighters which will keep them interested. Plus of course he'll use the phrase 'when the TV money comes in'. If that money doesn't come in they are all up **** creek though.
Did calzaghe ever get his money that fishface robbed from him? (btw mods this was a decision of t he court so you cant ban me for that although you probably will)
the channel has got no chance of surviving boxing simply isnt big enough to warrant its own tv channel , no other sport has done it and succeded and nor will this one , the only advantage of it is that it will cripple fisheyes and inturn loosen his grip on the sport in the uk and his influence with refs and the board
This. He's been firefighting since DeGale and Gavin signed on the dotted line and Khan left. With Khan at least there was some guaranteed money there. Now that's gone he's got to find the money without a recognised product to sell.
The promoter or his company' are Fkin skint, Once worked for a boss who kept promissing the wages was comeing' eventually the company went bust' and yes the staff got fk all. Time to jump ship. :hi:
He was ordered to but declared bankruptcy to avoid it. Calzaghe will have to sue him personally to get his money. Apparently that's a lot harder to do.
