Are you insinuating that Eubank-Calzaghe happened when Joe was a five year old child?

  2. Look, Calzaghe owns any version of Eubank.

    Fact.

  3. Benn and Watson have the best chance of beating Calzaghe.

Eubank was just too lazy at times and would be outworked. Don't think he punches hard enough to get rid of Slappy tbh.

I think Benn would beat him, Calzaghe ate a lot of right hands throughout his career, Nige might land enough to get rid of him.

I'm huge fans of Eubank, Benn, Watson, Collins and maybe the least Calzaghe but he is on the next level. Eubank and co are great fighters but not special fighters. Calzaghe is in the same ball park as Leonard, Hagler and co. Discuss Calzaghe vs Monzon, Hagler, prime Jones, prime Toney etc

None of these fighters can stop Calzaghe. None of these fighters can go 12 rounds as hard as Calzaghe. None of these fighters are as fast or as skilled as Calzaghe. They would all last the distance, really push him (not necessarily on the cards) but come up short.

Prime Eubank lands sooo many sneak right hands on Prime Calzaghe. But he could never beat him on points - no chance.

Collins? He isn't in the league of Graham, Eubank, Calzaghe or Watson.

  9. Collins was better than Eubank and is close enough in class to Benn to make his stylistic advantage tell.

Even when Calzaghe was in his ''slappy'' phase he was still very adept at slipping in a shot or two mid-flurry with far more power/technique than any other shots in the combination, very underrated trait IMO, he could certainly sting Eubank once or twice if SR got lackadaisical.

That said Eubank would still land a helluva lot of right hands, particularly if he was willing to throw it in between Calzaghe's blows. It's certainly feasible, almost likely that Eubank could catch Calzaghe unsighted and drop him, though I can't envisage him forcing a stoppage.

Calzaghe by decision for me, would outwork and outland him.

Even Eubank himself knows he ain't beating Joe.

EDIT: Just noticed Chris voted for himself on the pole though... :think

I knew it was too good to be true. That Atberry is as slippery as a young Sweet Pea Whitaker.
