I think this is a great fight. I'm honestly not sure about who wins. I feel that both have proven to be quality at 168. Both have solid skills, good speed, reflexes and talent. But I think the experience edge goes to the canadian champion. Youth is of course on the side of the Irish-American:roll:, Ward. I'd buy it because it's a unification fight and it's between the two best in the division which has turned out to be a pretty hot division after years of being stale.
I would go watch it at a bar, but I wouldn't pay for it. Ward's style is not worth the PPV fee, although I think Bute would make it a more entertaining fight.
No. These are the fights that could make you a PPV fighter. Just like what Arum tried with Gamboa Juanma. That's a great HBO WCB fight which could ve turned the winner into a PPV fighter. Yet he waited and fed them bums in the hope that Gamboa Juanma could be a PPV fight. Now one lost and the opportunity is gone. Bad promotion.
