Who cares if he's 21? The kid has a belt, let him fight legit competition. Not that Mosely wasn't great (at one time, at a lower weight), but c'mon, it would be nice if he fought somebody that had a significant victory in the last couple of years.

I rather see Alvarez against Kirkland, Angulo, Trout, Lara or hell even Rodrigues. But Beating up washed up superstars is what makes you a name in this game. So we probably going to see him fight Mosley, Margarito and Williams next year.

He also drew with the #106 P4P fighter in the world.

Id much prefer to see the Kirkland fight

doesn't matter if he is 21. He already has a ton of fights and needs to step up. He already has a goos amount of expiriance.

I think he mean the old #2, as in Pac before he lost to Lightweight JMM.

I thought James Kirkland already had a date with Carlos Molina?

I can see Golden Boy putting a Mosley vs Alvarez fight. Mosley can cash out and retire with a fat check, while Canelo builds hype against a small past prime 154 fighter. Crap fight

    I'm patient bro.

He's young, and he needs some polishing. I think they should have waited on the title...maybe...But I like the way they are bringing him up.

He's beat some decent competition already. So he's proven himself against C level fighters, B level fighters, and now he's proving himself against old past prime champs...next on the list, current titlist, and if he gets through that, the the top dogs.

Fighting Mosley means one thing, they are building up a Mayweather fight.

Ya its the belt that really bothers me...I dont really mind the competition, but why give him a title shot if he still developing, ya know? I dont really blame Canelo for this really, because who could say no to that kind of opportunity? its ****ing Sulliman who i blame for all this.

As long as Mosley can use that EPO, I think he'll be good! :good

This fight is bull****. Mosley of 5 years ago would beat the **** out of Canelo, but hes too old now and he is just going to take an unneccesary beating. They better pay him really well. Mosley recently turned down 1.5 million to fight Anthony Mundine... i have a hard time believing GBP is going to pay him more than that. If Mosley turned back the clock and beat Canelo I would be over the moon though.
