Why do you think Pacquiao even stands a chance of beating Mayweather?

I've never waded in on the whole Mayweather-Pacquiao argumnent, but I'm kind of about to now.

I'd like to know from sensible and balanced Pacquiao fans how on earth you think Pacquiao even stands a chance of beating Mayweather.

Please explain your reasoning.

(Dont get butthurt over the title or the fact I'm questioning this, I just genuinely dont know how any sane boxing fan can think that Pacquiao beats Mayweather)

He stands a chance because this is boxing, and anything can happen in boxing. He also stands a chance because he is a ****ing great boxer.

 

Great fighter, yes.

Great boxer, no.

 

Is he in the sport of boxing? Yes.
Does he box? Yes.

Is he in the UFC? No.
Does he fight? Technically yes, but he is classed as a boxer.

people classing fighters as B level or A level or whatever is the worst example generalising. So annoying.

 

I'll give you a simple reason..... If Floyd thinks like you and that the greatest fighter in this generation the reigning P4P King 8 division champion has no chance against him, he would've fought him two years ago and made a gazillion amount of money but he didn't. Cause PAC HAS a great chance of beating him :hi:

 

He stands a chance because this is boxing and he has the same weapons as Floyd.

He can hurt bigger men, like margarito, cotto, clottery Hatton.

He will lose the fight imo if it gets made as mayweather will nullify his movement and pick him to pieces with accurate punches.

But if you have ever fought with fight gloves and been caught flush ( like mayweather was with shane) it hurts and so thats why the better fighter can lose!
