Very good news and an all right opponent. Perez is a much better prospect than Chisora, Price and Fury who have all stolen a march on him amongst the British and Irish based fighters. Something that has only happened due to Perez's inactivity. Perez smashes Firday to pieces and KO's him early.

Can't wait to see the 'Irish' Cubans on the 30th.
Luis Garcia, Mike Perez & Alexei Collado all look very promising and so far look like they can make it up to the world scene who know's if they will but think it's likely they'll do very well

    Good HW fight.

As in, not a mismatch...and educational for the favorite should he win. (and a chance to make a huge statement if he does so by KO, which he won't...) A proper culling if he loses, and everybody loves an underdog.

Potentially it could also be a "good" fight...but it could also swing all the way in the other direction depending largely on Friday's mood and inclination.

Since they are fighting on shobox the new generaton id pesume so.

''Garcia’s takes on fellow undefeated prospect Alexander “The Great” Johnson (12-0, 5 KO’s) in a bout which will be broadcast live on ShoBox: The New Generation on the Showtime network while Perez meets Friday “The 13th” Ahunanya (24-8-13, 8 KO’s) in a heavyweight bout scheduled for ten rounds.''
