OK so any update on Burns next opponent?

I've been extremely lenient with Burns because I really like him, but wtf is this? he has more than enough name recognition atm to get a big fight in America, get some recognition, and make a massive name for himself on the world stage.

Crolla is not a bad fight for Ricky IMO. I dont think it will be as one sided as some suggest. Crolla is improving rapidly.

 

If the rumors are true for Burns Crolla, Macky will be on my couch

 

To be fair, After the fight with Montiel, I thought Limond would have outboxed him easy, and he proved me dead wrong, Crolla is a good little fighter, but I still think Burns would have far too much for him, Burns is world level, Crolla is not.

100% agree. Would like to see Crolla have a few tough fights against better opposition before taking this fight, but then again can't blame him for taking it.

 

If it wasnt for Frank 'pulling some strings' though, Burns wouldnt have got the original title shot.

Burns has won a world title, fitted in a few quick defences & then beat Katsidis to 'win' an interim title at LW...

I think Ricky has done not too badly with Frank watching over him.

Sure but lets be honest, in the grand scheme of things how much is a win over anthony gonna benefit burns at this stage of his career. theres a time to fight the crollas of this world and a time to take advantage of your momentum.

 

Couldnt agree more to be honest, the thought of Burns fighting Crolla makes me feel sick to the pit of my stomach.

All I was saying was that as a scottish boxing fan I appreciate what Frank did for scottish boxing landing Ricky a big fight out of nowhere, so even though Im angry at the thought of Crolla? I also cant help but think of where Ricky would be without Franks help if you know what I mean... Im kinda caught between a rock and a hard place regarding discussing Ricky & his reign so far!

 

I've given up the ghost as they say mate. Nelson never once bothered with responding which showed me he thought of me as a Broner type threat to Ricky that's why they went up in weight.

 

Even that hardman madman Brandon Rios respects Katsidis, get a grip TFFP:shock:
