Things Andre Ward needs to do to become a PPV attraction...

1) Punch women and security guard
2) Get involve in shooting incident and burn $100 bills
3) Tell everybody he's The Greatest. Greater than Ali Leonard & SRR
4) Talk **** and belittle your opponents

If he can do these he'll generate easy 1 Million PPV's per fight. :deal

the difference between *******s and *****s

*****s: mayweather is their favorite fighter but could care less about pacquiao and his personal life and also watch more fights then just mayweathers

*******s: only watch floyd and pacquiao fights they are more of floyd haters than pacquiao fans. they are obsessed with floyd and what he does outside the ring. they watch every video about floyd and tune in to all of his fights and interviews because pacquiao is a boring asian guy with NO personality. they are more of undercorver floyd fans than floyd haters.

Ward's getting there. I'd say he's still realistically a ciuple years frpmo being a draw with the right fights. Never happens overnight or after one fight.

NOt sure how well he draws in Oakland, but looking at a more high profile venue would be a good idea. He can still do fights there on occasion, but to get to the next level, fight bigger cities.

As for this comp, he just needs to keep the momentum going. Fights w/ Bute or Dawson chould be on the horizon for the next 2 years.

 

I dont remember Holyfield lacking popularity for being a quiet, humble & religious guy.

What Ward needs to do is fight named opponents who are coming off losses and bad performances and then move up in weight and challenge paper champions at a catch weight. ATG status secured.
