If boxing was actually organised who would champion - If boxing actually took competition seriously and wanted a sound and simple way...how would boxing look in terms of who is champion and who would be in the top ten.

    Super-Heavy 210 plus

    Heavyweight 210

    Light-Heavy 175

    Middleweight 160

    Welterweight 147

    Lightweight 135

    Featherweight 126

If boxing was 'actually organised' it would include bantamweight, flyweight and probably also cruiserweight amongst its divisions :good

35 pounds between light-heavyweight and heavyweight with nothing in between :patsch

    He obviously means in the original 8 weight divisions;

    Flyweight: (8 st): Pongsalek Wongjongkam
Bantamweight (8 st 6): Anselmo Moreno
    Featherweight (9 st): Yuri Gamboa
Lightweight (9 st 9): Juan Manuel Marquez
    Welterweight (10 1/2 stone):Manny Pacquaio
Middleweight (11 st 6): Sergio Martinez
    Light Heavyweight (12 1/2 stone):Bernard Hopkins
    Heavyweight (unlimited): W.Klitschko

Yes. But he left out traditional divisions in bantamweight and flyweight, and the 35 pound gap between light heavy and heavy isn't really workable either :good

I know where you are coming from. But people continue to be bigger and heavier every generation. So there is at least some case for a further seperation at the top end.

    "Superheavy" :lol:

I wonder why it's only in the last few years people from the Anglosphere want a superheavy division.

You could defo make a case for super heavy or just outright banning those over a certain weight.

Only 4 of the Ring ranked Heavyweights are over 6'4, the one listed at 6'4 is Areola, a fat Light Heavyweight. The two non Klitschko giants are Dimitrenko and Helenius who are hardly worth creating a new division for. Chambers and Ademek are basically Cruisers, not all that good either yet are in the top 5 along with 6'2 kinda chubby past his best already Povetkin.

The weight he picked doesn't even solve the so called problem because only Chambers has ever come in at less than that in the top 10 yet he beat Dimitrenko easily when he did.

    I'd say:

HW - Wlad or this version of old Vit? Even now, I think Vit may well outpoint Wlad, I'll go Vit

LHW - Bad Chad Dawson or Ward? Ward. I think both would beat Bernard at this point.

MW - Martinez. Could any of the top SMWs make MW? Doubtful. Ward's gold is at LHW

    WW - Floyd

    LW - JMM

Super Heavy: Sugar Niko (Chagaev, Holyfield and Haye cheated by weighing too little)
Heavy: Robert Helenius (I have pretty good evidence that he's technically unbeatable)
Light Heavy: Nathan Cleverly (Britain's only world champion)
Middle: Sexy Sergio (enough said. Although Martin Murray is brilliant according to Adam Smith)
Welter: Money May (and proved it by beating Ortiz)
Light: Juan Manuel Marquez (Ricky Burns is interim because JMM won't go near him)
Feather: Chris John (also technically unbeatable)

Thanks that why i put super-heavy-

The last great heavies have been-

    R. Bowe 6'5 245pounds

    L. Lewis 6'5 244 pounds

    W. Klitschko 6'6 244 pounds

    V. Klitscho 6'7 1/2 250 pounds

Also feel middleweight should be literally in the middle....which was why it was created in the first place.
