Nader should have retired when he got flogged by Ottis Grant. Macklin is certainly getting alot of title shots. Good luck to

As for the telegraph, you can't take that newspaper serious at all and yes, I don't think stuff like this should be published. I reckon they staggered out the two days of Mundine - Fenech talk over two days to get more reads on their website.

As for the article, Mundine's talk about Wlod is clearly just jumping off the back of Green's previous fight. 154 and 160 pounds have more than enough world credentialised fighters to boost Choc's name.

I dunno what's happened with the 'pioneering' but a Chavez's fight, although highly unlikely, trumps a fight with Trout despite their twitter beef.

 

I don't see how this is the journo's fault, given that he's just quoting the rubbish Mundine came out with - it's not the journo's job to decide what's ridiculous and therefore not to include it in his story.

It also further undermines the stuff Mundine was claiming about Trout wanting options on him - first it was 3 fights plus a rematch, then it was 1 fight plus a rematch, now all of a sudden he's turned his back on the idea, but hasn't badmouthed Trout in the process...makes you wonder eh? :think

 

There won't be a believable way of explaining away not fighting Austin Trout now, unless it's to accommodate a better opportunity.

He used the "pioneer" excuse to move down to 154 to avoid the Geale rematch even though he ended up fighting Medley at 160 anyway.

He used the "pioneer" excuse to avoid placing a purse bid for Golovkin...well actually, he never made an excuse for that, it was just never mentioned, almost as if it never happened

He claimed Trout asked for too much $$$ and wanted options to avoid fighting him earlier this year, and fought the redheaded stepchild brother of Saul Alvarez instead, claiming he was forcing his way to being Trout's mandatory.

Now, after 3 years of using his "pioneer" excuse he's trying to use the excuse of JCC jr being a bigger star at MW than Trout is at JMW to avoid fighting Trout...there goes the "pioneer" pipe dream
