today I saw on fightnews:

Sturm Box-Promotion wins Zbik-Proksa purse bid

      By Wolfgang Schiffbauer
WBA Middleweight Champion Felix Sturm and his promotional outlet Sturm Box-Promotion surprisingly won today’s purse bid for the European middleweight championship between champion Grzegorz Proksa and challenger, former WBC world champ, Sebastian Zbik at the EBU’s head quarters in Rome, Italy. The winning bid was 232.076,95 US-Dollar (or 176.100 Euro).
With the bid Sturm Box-Promotion snatched the bout out of the hands of Sauerland Event (153.079 Euro, 201.738,26 US-Dollar) and Matchroom Sports (100.001 Euro, 131.788,25 US-Dollar). Zbik’s promoter Universum Box-Promotion sent their bid over per fax, which is against the EBU regulations and therefore did not count.

should be an good fight, I am all for

Proksa was impressive this year, winning by KO on the road in Spain and then on the road again in Germany.

    He should beat Zbik.

I hope his promoter gives him opportunities and keeps him active during the next few years, he has excellent potential.

Proksa, but it will be a tougher fight than expected. Zbik might even take it.

    Proksa UD

I'd be stunned if Zbik won, but would also be stunned (a little) if Proksa manages to KO him.

If Proksa wins, Sturm could be his next opponent.

what I like about the fight is that proksa like you said is on a impressiv winning streak, looking impressiv and sbik in my eyes still is unbeaten, fears competitor too.

so you have two unbeaten young guys gettin it on.

Our Adopted son McGrezorgz O' Proksa whoops, Zbik, Chauves, or anyone else you put in front of him. No Debate.

A fine young super slicked out white G gentlemen brought up and raised by his Loving Irish Foster parents.

definitly, thats way sturm as a promoter wants this fight. he wants to promote sbik vs proksa to the maximum in germany and than fight the winner.

sturm looked great in his last fight and only because of karma he lost the fight, because the fight before he officialy won, but fans who scored it almost all had the other guy winning.

Two feather-fisted fighters, but both good boxers.

    Proksa takes it for me.

I'll be very surprised if this doesn't go to a decision.
