There has been a ? on his resume for some time.

There isn't one on his skill though.

I don't think he will be able to live with himself if he never fights either because until the day he dies, he will be known as a coward by a good number of die hard boxing fans.

He can fight who ever he want's......He will still have a ? on his sexuality.

Hell, Miss Jackson won't even kiss him. She pretends to date him to get money or gifts, and then behind his back goes to what she really wants......

He doesn't have to face Martinez, unless he goes up to fight someone else like Canelo or Cotto and avoids Martinez. If that happens it will be yet another division where he didn't fight the best P4P fighter around that weight after moving up from 135. (Tszyu @140, Pac @147, Martinez @154+..all top 3-5 P4P at the time he could have fought them). It still will look bad enough as it is if he doesn't fight Pac.

People will view him the same way when he fake retired in 2008 when the welterweight division's top fighters were just peaking.

a sergio martinez fight will not affect his legacy AT ALL. 20 years from now no one will know who martinez is. his legacy will be cool no matter what but a Pacquiao fight solidifies his and pacquiaos legacy. They can say what they want but they BOTH need this fight

Floyd is worthless, who cares about him. He had so manny opportunities to get himself right with the fans and other fighters. He could have been liked, made just as much money and most of all respected, but his ego and his insecurities did him in. He won't be remembered for anything good. Too bad because he was talented. You will remember Duran, Ali, Leonard, Robinson, Pacquiao and many other greats, but not Floyd Mayweather. He blew his chance.

He doesn't need Sergio, but he needs to fight Pac or will be reviled forever as an overrated coward who shitted on his fans and ruined his own legacy. Both him and Pac will be criticized until kingdom come if the match doesnt happen, its a match the sport just needs.

Despite the fact that Martinez is a middleweight and Mayweather is a welterweight the fight will be a great what if fight. When everyone comes to their senses and realizes how overrated Pacquiao is. The fact that Pacquiao did everything possible to avoid fighting Mayweather will not have a nagitive effect on Mayweather' status.

**** will be both hilarious and dissapointing

Get rumors at fever pitch your about to fight either Pac or Sergio, and then retire after a tko4 win over Ortiz
