Is Fury still fighting in Blackpool on 28th of January all seems to have gone quiet since his last fight? Also with Tye Fields looking unlikely who is he fighting in America ?
hasn't he had some personal issues? wasn't his kid seriously ill or something? more importantly, any news when eubank jr will be out next?
Seriously, I thought Fury left that "class" of opponents behind... but Pajkic gave him quite a scare recently so it might be true.
He's going to need a good year at least fighting the likes of Towers, Pajkic and Firtha again before he even thinks about stepping up again. he's a massive KO waiting to happen unless he sharpens his tools.
this made me laugh for the bluntness He is only 23, why go for the big fights until he is 25-26, have 5 learning fights a year for two years and then push on
Agree. Fury isn't ready and should be in no rush to fight the "elite." Let him milk some fights on Channel5 for 12 to 18 months - maybe 6 or 7 fights - against decent opposition who will test him. By then, the landscape could look very different. Vitali might be gone, Wladamir maybe on the way out, and Fury would have much more of a chance of picking up a trinket. As of now, he is no way near ready. Don't push him.
It would be good if it was along the lines of this- Jan - R. Towers (Tall unbeaten fellow prospect) Mar - T. Fields (Tall big punching journeyman) Jun - M. Barrett ( A list journeyman stiff test) Aug - S. Peter (former world champ) Nov - D. Guinn (former contender, never knocked out) These would all be winnable fights, and leave him with a 22-0 record..
