The Cuban phenom Gamboa is back on March possibly taking on Rocky Juarez at 133lbs. I really thought that Gamboa was going to go straight for the Champs but Juarez is no challenge for el Ciclón. I really hope this fight doesn't materialize as there are other much better fighters out there for him.

Anyone see Juarez doing anything against super talented Gamboa? Who do you want Gamboa to fight next?

I thought Rios was moving up cause he was having major issues making weight. There are other great fights for him at 130 and 135, Rios is not the only one. ;)

Juarez from the first Barrera fight would give Gamboa nightmares but that was like 6 years ago and he hasn't won a fight since I don't believe.

Juárez is the definition of gatekeeper, he is tough, he has a decent chin, limited technical skills but he has the heart

Yes, but none would be as big as Rios at 135. Remember that Gamboa is no spring chicken. This sounds terrible but he hasn't earned as much as his talent would suggest so it's logical to assume that he( and Arum, let's be honest) wants big fights/paydays while he's still at his physical peak...which won't be for very much longer. If he were 5-6 years younger, he could hang out at 126 and unify while gradually building a showdown with Rios and Lopez.

Has Juarez fought since the loss to Linares??? Hmm thinking about it a Demarco fight would be better for Gamboa.

Forget about Ríos, no way he can make 135 anymore.

Juarez is getting brutally stopped. Gamboa would hit him 20 times before juarez would even throw a punch. Juarez wouldnt even throw punches in his prime so now he'd just be a sitting target. His eyes are terrible, wouldnt even be able to see the punches coming.
