If given a choice to get a huge paycheck and a ton of recognition as well as an opportunity to beat one of the greats in ur era none of u ass clowns would pass that up.
If u say u would ur either a chicken **** fanboy hating liar or the world's dumbest son of a *****. The hate this guy gets is mostly from cowardly *****s who don't want to see their hero take a legitimate risk against a guy who actually moves his head and feet, has speed and power in both hands and has the stamina to go 12rounds even at his old age. The other sudden legion of Serge haters are from some bitter *******s who are pissed at Serge for basically calling Pac a fraud, but Serge isn't saying anything that hasn't been said already by most of the boxing community.

Other then that some of u boxing experts have ur panties in a bunch because the Ring has him ranked P4P #3 and because of that u say he's over rated which IMO is laughable when P4P lists are nothing more then a matter of opinion and everyone has different views on who should be placed where on it. If u believe he's over rated that's fine, but again not a reason to hate on the man.. It's not like he placed himself there.

Then we got the fans who seem desperate to get Serge to move up to SMW and fight the Ward's, Frochs n Dirrells.. I personally would love to see these fights, but fact is these guys aren't the huge draws that May n Pac are n Jr. middleweight is really Martinez's most effective weight class regardless of the "walk around weight" argument that some Haters like to make. I'm sure if Ward was currently at Mayweather or Pac status Serge would strongly consider it, but the fact is at the moment he isn't.

Truthfully many Floyd n Pac fans want to see them fight Serge as does most of the boxing community, but there's a few fan boys who just can't seem to find their balls so their intimidation has turned into obsessive hatred. In the end though Serge n nobody is holding a gun to Floyd nor Pac's head and forcing them to fight Serge n no one will blame them if they didn't.. It isn't mandatory and it isn't being pushed upon them. It's nothing more then a great way to challenge themselves n further add to their legacy by defeating the man currently regarded as the best middleweight in the world. It's their choice, if they choose not too Serge has no choice but to move on, but to hate on him for trying to get paid n make a name for himself you have to hate yourself because all of u would want the exact same thing if u were in his position.

That's quite a rant there, fella.

You gotta ignore the haters bro, they're secretly just super jealous of Sexy Sergio's chiseled good looks and god-like physique. It's not their fault they're ugly.

Hahaa.. Just speaking facts. Everyday I see a new silly hate thread on Serge pop up so I was curious if most boxing fans felt this way or the hate was only coming from a few ESB drama queens :yep

His best win is a one in a million knockout punch over vastly overrated Paul Dhalsim Williams. Thats his whole resume. PfP3? Laughable.

Sergio is the biggest hater in boxing. This guy is always complaining about other fighters' success.

Williams was the most avoided man in boxing and was ranked in the top 5 P4P at the time.. Many people had Serge winning the first fight as well not to mention Serge was the underdog in both fights. Again P4P lists are a matter of opinion anyway, still not a reason to hate the guy.

He brings it on himself with ridiculous statements criticising proven warriors and beloved and respected fighters like Cotto and Pac. Maybe that's what he wants, he feels a good guy-bad guy scenario will up his chances of getting a fight vs them. Notice he doesn't criticise Mayweather, who's cherry picked just as much if not more. Or his hating could be out of sheer frustration. It's not a very likable trait if you're not a fan of his or a hater of his targets

Obviously he respects Mayweather's skill and wants to get a fight made with him. All fighters talk **** anyway.

The ones who constantly disrespect other fighters usually get a lot of hate. Mayweather the prime example. Comes with the territory. If he was only hating on Chavez it would probably be ok, he'd have a lot of merit and support there with everyone knowing what the deal is with Chavez and the quest to make him a protected species.

I wonder just how much of what he says is getting twisted in translation? Just a thought.

Either way, most the hate seems to come from fans of other top MW's because Sergio seemingly is not interested in fighting them and prefers to call out smaller men than him.

For him, I honestly believe that why yes he would like the money, the p4p status and notoriety is just as important as he enters the twilight of his career.

Is the hate justified? Well when it comes to boxing fans it goes with the territory.

He isnt getting any younger! Wants a Payday. The only thing he gets credit for is beating a 2 week Rehab Stinted Kelly Pavlik, and a ***** in Paul Williams.

I think people hate him just to do it, everyone forgets that he's 36 years old and his time is running out... plus he's already considered p4p #3...so what good would fighting someone like Pirog (who is unproven besides his win against jacobs). It only makes sense to go for the fight that will bring in the money and the recognition
