    If its gonna take some time to recover, they
    should call Matthysse, he just fought, is in shape and
    highly ranked. Make him and Garcia for interim belt,
    winner gets Erik. Just bump Kirkland to main event.

    You can be out the next day.(I have had mine removed). Three small holes. This was 15 years ago. Maybe it's down to just 2 holes by now. I was back to work in a week.

    Doesn't mean you will be ready to be punched in the stomach though. Don't know when the fight is planned, but he would be crazy to fight before 3 months or so. Not that it can't be done, but it takes a long time for those holes to be fully healed, and not be at risk to reopening(internally).

    On topic, hope Morales recovers swiftly. I'd still like to see the final piece of the Fab Four round robin before he retires, even at both their respective career's twilights...

    I was wondering the same thing.

    Anyway, they should find some alternative opponent though. Wouldn't want him to rush his recovery.
