Do you think that Pacquiao v.s. JMM III was a close fight?

    The reason I ask this because many people said that it was a close fight while many said it wasn't so I'm just curious to know what most people thought about it.

    Closer than plenty of fights, but not that close. I had Marquez winning 8. It was relatively close within rounds, but not too close on the cards.

    As Leon said, competitive is a better word for it.

    I'd say 9 of the 12 rounds were close. I'd give JMM 2 decisive rounds and 1 for Pac.

    Honestly, I definitely thought it was close, but 8-4 isn't a huge stretch in my mind, because there were an awful lot of close rounds that REALLY could have gone either way.

    At the end of the day though, I do see that Marquez won the event and the admiration of the fans, largely because very little was expected from him by most (myself included) which seems rather foolish in hindsight.

    Please don't be biased! I'm a big fan of Pacquiao but I thought he lost the fight against JMM in the third match.

    it could of been a draw in my opinion, but since it was for the title and jmm is the challenger, i gave it to manny.
