I'm not talking about who had the most power, most knockouts, etc etc.

What five fighters, in your opinion, were the all around greatest punchers, mixing in everything from power, technique, accuracy, speed, timing, fluidity, etc.

This is off the top of my head so I haven't put much thought into the overall best, but the five that stand out more than any other fighters off the top of my head are (in no particular order):

    Tommy Hearns
    Terry Norris
    Mike Tyson
    Erik Morales
    Joe Louis

I know some or even many of you may not agree with me about Norris, but for me personally he was one of my favorite fighters of all time to watch solely because of his punching.

I can't say top 5 for sure, but a few guys who immediately come to mind who aren't already mentioned are Julian Jackson, Earnie Shavers, Khaosai Galaxy and Bob Foster. Jimmy Wilde probably deserves a shout out too, but there isn't a ton of footage out there.

Good shout on Bob Foster, he's definitely another one who I really enjoyed watching. Maybe the best puncher at LHW of all time.

    Alexis Arguello
    Tommy Hearns
    Ray Robinson
    Julian Jackson
    Archie Moore

Yes, you have to throw Alexis Arguello in there. He was an absolute sniper of the sport.

The way I worded the question was a bit of a mistake I think. I guess what I am trying to ask is who are the top 5 most pleasing punchers to your own eyes, but basically would have to be known as very good punchers to begin with.

I really enjoy the technique he has, among other things.
