Marquez looked like that before the first round. It has nothing to do with him eating lots of right hands. Pac never connected at all.

 

Marquez got outboxed, his jab and his left hook were easily being timed by Pacquiao.

Pacquaio fans should be grateful for Marquez. He cleared Pac of the roids label by showing how vulnerable he really was. Without Marquez Pac would still look undefeatable because of what he did to the welters. It took little Marquez to set the record straight for everyone. Pac wasn't roiding, he just wasn't facing Marquez. :deal

Close? Naw. It wasn't Chisora/Helenius type of wide but it sure was something like 8-4 or even and I wouldn't consider that "close".
