Who's Paul McCloskey fighting next ?

    Anyone got any idea who Matchroom have lined up next for Paul McCloskey ? gone a bit quiet on his front since his debatable September 10th victory over Breidis Prescott 3 months ago, you'd have thought they would at least have announced an opponent.

    I'm hoping for someone like Matthyse or Zab Judah.

    I wanna see him against someone like Matthyse, he's beaten fringe contenders like Prescott, claims he was robbed against a former champion like Amir Khan, Paul fancies himself as a real contender in this division, he needs to start fighting top 10 fighters and earning a title shot in the ring.

    Fighters like McCloskey should be pissed at their promoters. He fought in September. He needs to get something finalised. Even if they get something finalised early next year, he is out of the ring for 6 months. As soon as a guy finishes fighting, his promoter needs to get out there and line up his next fight. Especially when they are in a stage of development and heading towards a world title. Sure, when you are an elite fighter and you are only looking for the biggest fights out there twice a year then thats okay but someone like McCloskey needs to get in the mix. Presccot fought 2 months later after their fight [which he won].

    McCloskey must adjust his style and get a balance, he needs to come forward more like he had too in the 2nd half of the fight against Prescott. He needs to combine his illusiveness with with more come forward style and use those skills he has when needed.
