Vince Cleverly interview,Froch,Hopkins & Enzo Mac

I love Enzo Mac.

 

His CV will say he trains a world champ. That is wrong.

 

What the **** is this clown talking! I don't get on with Nathan or his Dad, I showed respect after the fight that was it!

Nathan never got out of first gear?? This clown is delusional... Vince Cleverly IMO is a fraud and a mouthy Garden knome who has no right talking about me like he has! Like I said I showed respect after the fight as that's just me but make no mistake I don't like either of them it's that simple!

Cleverly was at full tilt against you Tony i honestly thought the fight was going to be called a draw.Probably the second best fight in this country this year behind Murray v Mitchell imo.The fight game is full of trash talk before a fight but a couple of months afterwards his dad should have given you more credit.Cleverly himself didn't look 100% confident when the scores were being read out bit guttted as had a few quid on you at 7/2 crackin value i thought!

 

Did Vince Cleverly actually watch the fight? Many including myself thought Tony shaded it. It was a very close fight that could have gone either way.

Or was Vince drinking and smoking whatever Dave Parris was during the fight?

I doubt Tony would believe he himself would stand a chance against BHop or Dawson at this moment in time. For Cleverly to think he has a chance, shows that he is seriously delusional.

If anything, Cleverly needs to rematch Tony first before getting grand ideas above his station.

 

I wish he'd give me a rematch, I'd jump at it tomorrow, as for his old man he's just an arsehole, I'm not bitter and I'm a good person but to be spoken about by a little freak like that is just wrong! It disgusted me to hear him say that it really did! The man hasn't got a ****ing clue...

Got to speak up for Vince Cleverly.

What ever you think of his views of boxing and I am not agreeing or disagreeing with them ,Vince is 1 of the nice guys of British boxing.

He is always friendly happy to talk boxing with any fans at boxing event and is totally down to earth.

Dont understand why people on boxing fourms have to make personal insulting comments about people they have never met.

 

I've heard some mad **** about Vince from people who would know, but I'm not about to post rumours about people online, but they would not be the actions a 'nice guy.'

 

If you're judging Vince by soundbites I can imagine you'd think he was a muppet.

But if you look at his situation, he is just a normal, working class fella who happens to have a talented son who has been well managed to a World Title thus far.

With that goes the need to deal with media and being scrutinised to the 'n'th degree.

I'll be honest, I'd hate to think about some of the **** I'd come out with if I was trying to be clever/cocky in front of a camera.

 

You are so entertaining when you are angry.

Be sure to call him a ****ing rat in your scouse accent in the rematch. Come in with better stamina and you've got his number. I had it 6-6 but felt you gave away the last few rounds clearly because you couldn't maintain the same standard of work.

This scorecard in the Cleverly Bellew fight is criminal. Even the 116-113 card is highly questionable. To suggest Cleverly won by more than 2 rounds is madness.
